Project Overview
This anticipated 5-year USAID-funded activity will contribute directly to the overarching goals of RISE II Integrated Health Services Delivery (HSD) by improving access to quality health services and strengthening ownership and management of health services by communities, in partnership with citizens, local government, and service providers in Burkina Faso and Niger. The activity seeks to build off of the successes of RISE I and incorporate key lessons learned to achieve greater impacts on health, family planning and nutrition outcomes and enhance the sustainability of institutions and programs.
Specific responsibilities:
URC is currently seeking a qualified Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) Advisor to provide technical leadership and project oversight in the areas of maternal and newborn health for USAID RISE II HSD Activity in Burkina Faso and Niger. The MNCH Advisor will oversee and ensure the technical and methodological soundness of project activities. In collaboration with the project team and partners, the position will support the design and implementation of MNCH strategies.
The MNCH Advisor will serve as the technical lead and provide overall guidance for project activities aimed at fulfilling the MNCH strategy which includes the following responsibilities:
